What to Expect
What happens during a BARE BY M boudoir session?
Your experience begins before you arrive. After booking, you’ll receive a preparation guide covering everything from what to bring to how to care for your skin the night before. On the day of your session, you arrive at the private studio in Dallas / Fort Worth and are immediately welcomed by Marian and our hair and makeup artist. Once you’re styled and ready, Marian guides you through every pose. After the session, you move directly to the image reveal. Most sessions last three to five hours from arrival to completion.
What is included in the session fee?
The $795 session experience includes professional hair and makeup, a fully guided photography session, a same-day private image reveal, and your complete preparation guide. Professional retouching is included on all purchased images. The session fee does not include digital images or print products — those begin at $990.
Do I have to be a certain size or shape to do this?
No. BARE BY M works with women of every size, shape, and age. Marian’s job is to find your light, your angles, and the version of you that’s been waiting to be seen. The women who feel the most transformed are often the ones who were the most unsure walking in.
Will it just be me and the photographer?
Your session will include Marian and a professional hair and makeup artist during the styling portion of your experience. Once your session begins, it is just you and Marian. No other clients, no additional staff, no interruptions.
How long does the session take?
Sessions generally take 2-3 hours. Check with the studio for your exact timing.

What to Wear & How to Prepare
After you book, you’ll receive a detailed preparation guide. In general: bring options. Lingerie, an oversized shirt, a bodysuit, something that makes you feel like yourself. Marian will review what you’ve brought when you arrive and help you decide what to use and in what order.
Do I have to be fully undressed?
No. Your level of coverage is entirely your choice. Some women prefer fully clothed or semi-clothed sessions. Others are comfortable with less. Marian will never direct you toward anything that doesn’t feel right to you.
What if I don't wear lingerie?
Many women don’t — and their sessions are just as beautiful. An oversized blazer, a silk robe, a simple bodysuit, even just a great pair of underwear and a white shirt can produce extraordinary images.
How should I prepare my skin before the session?
Moisturize consistently in the days before your session, stay hydrated, get good sleep the night before, and avoid new skincare products or treatments in the week leading up to your appointment. Your hair and makeup will be handled professionally at the studio.
Pricing & Collections
How much does boudoir photography cost in Dallas?
At BARE BY M, the session experience investment is $795. Image collections begin at $990. Most women invest between $2,500 and $4,500 in their complete experience. The full day private experience begins at $10,000 and is available by inquiry.
Are payment plans available?
Yes. Interest-free payment plans are available. You can reserve your date and spread the investment over time. Details are provided at booking.
When do I see and choose my images?
Immediately after your session, on the same day. Your images are displayed on a large screen in a private viewing space. There is no pressure and no time limit.
What image products are available?
Is the session fee refundable?
The session investment is non-refundable. It is transferable to a new date with a minimum of 72 hours notice, subject to availability.

Who is Marian?
Marian is a Dallas-based boudoir photographer with fifteen years of professional experience. She founded BARE BY M to create a private, fully guided photography experience for women in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. Marian conducts every session personally.
Where is the studio located?
The studio is a private space in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. Exact location details are provided after booking confirmation. BARE BY M serves clients from across the DFW Metroplex.
Booking
How do I book a session?
You can reserve your session directly from the booking page by selecting your date and submitting your session deposit. If you have questions before booking, an inquiry form is available on the same page.
How far in advance should I book?
Availability varies by season. Two to four weeks in advance is typical. If you have a specific date in mind, the best approach is to check availability as soon as you’re ready.
Can I book a session as a gift?
Yes. Gift sessions can be arranged through the inquiry form. Marian will coordinate the details personally.
What is your cancellation policy?
The session investment is non-refundable. Reschedules are accepted with a minimum of 72 hours notice, subject to availability.
